To the OP--you came here asking if anyone else keeps their dogs outside. As you can see, the overwhelming response is "no". This is not healthy, safe, or emotionally fit for yorkies. I do hope that you'll look closely at the responses and advise given here and reconsider. Please don't endanger the lives of these little babies just for some "extra cash". It is not worth the risk.

If you aren't able to keep them inside and give them the love and attention they deserve, perhaps you could look into rehoming them and then do some more research before attempting to start a breeding program? The people here at YT would be more than willing to teach you about the correct way to breed, the yorkie standard, what is right and wrong, genetic diseases and testing, etc. They can give you tips and advise and THEN you can decide if this is really for you. Breeding is a huge decision and one that should not be rushed.

Please keep the best interest of these dogs in mind! You got an answer, you've been given the correct information, now you just have to choose to do the right thing...
