My baby Bogart was just diagnosed with an ulcer. Actually, after ruling out several other things, including an obstruction, the vet said that she is "treating him as if he has an ulcer."

His only real symptoms were that he was throwing up his food relatively soon after eating - but otherwise active, wanting to eat, drinking, peeing and pooping just fine, etc. He threw up this all weekend and my husband thought that he just had an upset stomach - so he kept feeding him. I was out of town, or else paranoid mommy here would have taken him to the vet after the first or second vomit. But, now the vet says that she sees signs of digestive blood in his vomit and stool (no diarrhea) and is keeping him (he has been there since yesterday morning) until he goes 24 hours without vomitting.

Does anyone have any wisdom or advice on ulcers or the symptoms Bogart exhibited?
