I am just so disturbed by this topic. Oh well we are not going to change her mind
We are out in the country on 6 acres and when we first moved here 7 years ago, we fenced in area so the dogs could go outside to run and play but I never left them unsupervised. Even with me standing right there they would start eating acorns, sticks, dirt, grass, etc and then come inside and get sick so their outdoor adventures came to a end really quick. Not only that, there are squirrels, snakes, raccoons, skunks and possums to contend with. They will come in the yard, eat to dogs food, poop in the yard and possibly attack the Yorkies. And you are right about the hawks and owls, they do attack small dogs. TOO MANY DANGERS OUTSIDE!
