The first time this happened to Teddy, he started to avoid me. and then he started to walk around with his back hunched. That was my clue that something was wrong..Upon investigating, I found the poor little guy was in a real mess.It took me a while to clean him up, as his fur was all stuck together, and he didn't want me to touch him. Guess he was scared that it would hurt. Now, I ask the groomer to make sure the hair is trimmed short in that area, and if I find him keeping a low profile or avoiding us, I know what is wrong. ( Tootsie has never had this problem.)
