Sorry everyone, I didn't mean to start an argument.
In my opinion I was upset by her getting so defensive and argumentive with me for the simple reason that I asked what her pups were registered with. She named off all these different registries. So I emailed her back and asked if they were AKC registered, she said mom and dad were, so I emailed her back again to ask if the pups would be AKC regisitered and she got defensive and said No I have no reason to and then explained that no one cares or knows what AKC is. That just made me stop and wonder about the pups plus she wants to meet me and not have me come see them. This is red flags to me.
I only look for AKC because I know there are LESS puppy mills with AKC because they check on larger breeders. This is from first hand experience with my past mentors when I bred my shelties years ago( I was never a big breeder but my two mentors were). They had to comply with many rules and had akc on their butt all the time.
