This makes me think of an incident at my work. I worked at very upscale department store, which has a pet friendly environment....we welcomed furbabies. This girl would bring her Yorkie in all the time, and the dog was a holy terror. He would snap at people, actually nipped another customer's heel, and peed in a dressing room!! I tried to interact with the dog, but it was not having it...it was the unfriendliest Yorkie I've ever encountered.
Anyway, I tried to engage the owner in conversation about Yorkies, and all she cared about was how much mine weighed! My girl was smaller than her dog, and the conversation ended at that. She was such a b****! My supervisor ended up banning her dog from the store after that...as cute as it was, it might as well have been a Pit Bull for all the attitude and behavior problems it had. |
