Marcus was with me the other day while we were having my car worked on. We were in the waiting lounge and an employee came up and started talking about yorkies. He was like, "Well you know yorkies come in three sizes: 2lbs, 6lbs, and 12 lbs. Your's looks overweight for his size. Mine at home is 1.5 lbs and I think he's still too big". I just nodded and smiled and gave him the look like "you're an idiot". He then asked me if I had any suggestions to help his yorkie lose weight. I replied "If you want him to be less than 1.5 pounds, why don't you just get guinea pig next time?" I'm normally not rude, but I just hated the way he was talking about his poor tiny baby. Needless to say, he walked off and that was the end of the conversation. I don't think people will learn what's normal until celebrities and people in the spotlight stop using their precious pups as accessories.

I think I would have referred him to this website and told him that he should ask that question here.
