Pedigree is actually having an adoption event in Times Square, NY until February 21st. If you are on their email list you could print out the email about the event, take it there and Pedigree would donate $50 to the charity in your name.
Since I obviously don't live in NY, I forwarded it to my sister who works in Manhattan to take it there. She said it was freezing out, but there was a line of people waiting to play with the adoptable dogs in the tent. I just hope all the dogs found good homes.
