he was just trying to sweet talk and impress her) about 2 years later she broke up with him, and thats when he made it. he was just trying to prove to her that he made it for her. he didnt have any hopes of it getting her back, but he just didnt want to seem like a lying jerk. (it would just make matters worse. like ... she already wasnt too fond of him anymore, obviously.)
