I was about to suggest that when I saw your post.
I stayed at the Paramount 2 years ago in April. The hotel is really funky and quite cool. The rooms are kind of small, but how much time will you really spend in the room anyway? I don't believe they serve breakfast in the hotel, but there is a little diner/breakfast place right next to it, and they have great food.
and the hotel's prices aren't bad either.
Its right off of TS -- I believe its on W 45th or 46th.
Last July we got a great deal on a room at the Marriott, so I'd suggest that, but we only stayed there because we got a great deal -- its usually really expensive. But incase you're interested in it, there is a concierge's (sp..ouch) lounge with free internet, and its right in the middle of TS.
