I wrap them in a big towel & get as much water out as I can with that, using a second one when it's soaked
Then I brush them dry whilst blowing them with a hairdryer on a warm setting.
That way they don't get cold.
If I let them, they'd hurtle round drying themselves rubbing against the sofas & carpets, getting their hair full of tangles in the process
