I think most people do not have much pain at all. It depends on how impacted into the jaw bone they are I believe. I had mine out and they were very impacted, with the pain meds it still did not really bother me except for the chipmunk like swelling. When it did bother me is when I thought I was doing so well I used a straw and got a dry socket. I have never had so much pain never, not kidney stones, not a broken arm, nothing hurt that bad! Moral of this story relax and be sure to follow your doctors instructions!
