I don't know if this means anything but when I switched Samson from dry food to only wet food he stopped eating his poo. I can't swear by it because I always watched him like a hawk and picked up asap and that may have stopped him. Or he just may have grown out of it (he's 5 and half months). But I had him on all wet for about 2 weeks (prior I did both and he still ate it) and one day I noticed that I wasn't having to be so aggressive on removing his poo because he wasn't interested anymore. Maybe it's a combination of everything but I'm just glad it stopped!!
