I bit my nails soooooo badly until I was 22 years old. I used to have to go to the doctors bc they were infected all the time, my doctor said Id NEVER have nails bc I ruined the nail beds and cuticules sooo badly in all my years of biting, but when I stopped they just grew and grew! I have a theory! My grandmother died when I was 15 and I was the ONLY girl on my dads side of the family so she kind of spoiled me, well she had GORGEOUS nails and when she was sick in the hospital I went to visit her and painted her nails. She told me she wished she could give them to me. 3 days later she passed away! I spent the next 7 years still biting away, and when I stopped and they grew, I swear she gave me her nails!

sounds like my grandmother...she had wonderful nails!!! she swore it was because she washed her dishes in the sink. yeah...I'll take her word on that...I love my dishwasher LOL
