Yorkies don't shed, but they will lose hairs just like we do. The only time I've ever noticed clumps of hair is when Lacy is scratching a lot...she'll leave little balls of hair around. When I comb Rylie (cottony coat), more hair comes off in the comb than when I comb Lacy.
