Default Testicular cancer and neutering.....

I have a 9 year old male that was part of my breeding program but, since I am in the mist of revamping my breeding program, I will not be using him anymore. For those of you that retire older males do you still get them neutered at that age and is it harder on them getting it done at that age. Also, for those of you that don't neuter your older males, has anyone had any problems with testicular cancer. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
