It is hard on us, but you all know how it is and how it feels as breeders. We have to do what is right to help our Yorkies and this for us was the right thing to do...I'd love to have a litter of babies this year but I am waiting till the Spring of 2009 to have one for I still want to get more done on our room and learn more about Sage (She came out of Lady Hawks Line "Tamis") and she is a doll but her line is so different then what we're use to Sages' coat is a hard one to care for, so there is learning there to be done. I'm not showing any and I don't think I can as of now but I would love how to do the training for the puppies when they go into new homes...Sage will be mated with our Sir. Galahad and I feel they will have beautiful babies and be within the weight guidelines for AKC...I wanted more time to learn more and still be able to care for the gang we have. I'm thinking that if Sage and Galahad has a male we may keep him to mate with our Sofie she has a beautiful coat and small built so we'll see. Tami has been my "God Sent" she has taught me a lot so far and she is always there to answer "ANY" questions I may have on anything to do with Yorkies...I couldn't make it without her! She has a lot of wisdom and gives it freely and thankfully passes some of it my way! I don't get out to go to the dog shows as I should but I hope I can spot a keeper or one to send to a pet home...I tell U I think I just about made a mistake on our Sofie, I just about let her go but I'm so glad I didn't she has a coat that is really easy to care for and she has such a gentle touch to her, like her Daddy Teddy lets me do what I want to her. I feel good with the choices I made in rehoming our babies. I know they are well taken care of and we as breeders sometimes have to do things that those around us just don't understand. I do have to say our Tiffanie left us a lasting memory through her Galahad, he is turning out to be just as stubbern as she is and rotten too...I don't know but he's something else to deal with. I'm going to post something later today on Grooming him in the "Grooming" Section U can look there for it...He's a case I know that! LOL! But I love the little thing! I thank all of U for being here for me and understanding as breeders. |
