Sorry to hear about that horrible groomer....I would be looking into a new groomer....I am lucky to have one (when I take mine to a groomer) where I can stay and watch. But years and years ago I had taken Mojo to one and I said to take off an inch...AND she took him down to an inch!!!
I didn't pay...I was furious...but if I recall, it didn't take long at all for the hair to come in.
