Gus did this aswell. He hated his crate. He has his big crate/cage that has his food and water and is never closed. He doesnt use this other then to eat, drink, and hide things. He has a small crate upstairs in my room right next to my side of the bed that he sleeps in with the door shut all night and is fine as long as I'm there by him. He also has another small crate with no door down here that he loves and is mostly in there when he is not sitting my my lap or sitting on my feet under the desk while I'm on the computer. Is your crate in the same room as you over night? That sometimes works if she knows your there with her. As for destroying stage,,,,, my Gus will still get into some messes. He loves toilet paper or any paper for that matter. The only paper he wont destroy is his potty pads. And he has gotten ahold of a plant or 2 but I now keep them out of his reach bcause they can be poisonous for them. Just keep trying the crate. You have to show her who's the boss. And she will get used to it. Good luck to you and welcome to TY!!!
