Every pup I got to pick out of a litter when I was growing up was the one I thought nobody else would want - the ugliest, homliest one. I had the best little friends I could ever want. Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder and it is only skin deep. I adore ugly pups. Just like the Special Olympics - why not let those who aren't blessed with perfect genes enjoy being in the spotlight. I don't really think they were terrified - they are natural shakers. If they were scared, wouldn't they be fighting being there instead of just looking at everyone? Most of those little puppies were rescued from puppy mills or worse and given a second chance to be something special in somebody's life. why not celebrate it? I think it's a great idea.
