I am currently looking for a little shed to put outside in my back yard. As of now, I have a home made pen in my garage that is 8x10 in size that they all run around in(all four of my dogs) and they all have their own beds. I've posted up what my room kinda looks like. Hope it helps. I do not believe in sticking my babies in crates. I wouldn't want to be locked up all day. They are only in that pen during the day when I'm at work.

Our babies room is right next to our bedroom the door stays open all night and a gate there all day. I only crate when need be (Like not being able to be here at home or moping the floor in their room and at night, Galahad is MARKING and I won't allow it to be done on the walls or cabinets and I don't put a belly band on him at night I feel he needs to be without it some, he does wear it during the day when he's out in the room), their not in it all day, now mind U they are unlocked and yes teddy can open the door to his crate and they go in and choose to lay down in it, and our 3 babies run in and out playing in it too so they must like it or they wouldn't go in there during the day.
