Wow! I haven't been on for a while! PLEASE anyone give me some advice! We had 2 Yorkies Lady and Sprocket for a couple of years and loved them both however they did not love each other and my female would hurt him so bad that he would bleed. We originally got him to breed her but when she went through 3 heats and wanted nothing to do with him we sold him saying that if they don't want him anymore we would rather have him back than go to the pound. The lady that bought him wanted him for breeding as well and we said that since he is not fixed he does pee on my sons chair as a domance thing and he is a very energetic dog. He picked up on tricks and fetch and was a very lovable dog. Now a year later (after she has got a litter) she wants to put him down! She said the pound won't take him cause he bites everyone who enters the house (never did that the first 2 years of his life) and pees on everything and she said he is the worst animal she has ever seen in her life! She would never give this dog to anyone and put them through the hell her family has gone through having him... I feel so terrible for selling him to her now that he has probably gone through hell himself...
We have now moved well on with our lives into a different house and are adopting 2 kids from Russia. They have lived in an orphanage their whole lives and have never seen a dog so our female will be in for a ride... but another dog and one that now bites would not be allowed on our homestudy that is already on Russian soil. Since our female would not allow him on her territory again without hurting him and our kids are going to be a big ajustment from institutional life to a family and a month in country stay in Russia to come this summer (we have a house sitter lined up) trying to re-train a 3.5 year old dog that pees and bites just is a bit too much to put on my plate right now. I loved him so much and can't imagine what he has been through but my kids come first and need all my attention! Is there anyway to train him to not do this (get him fixed, obedience training, etc.) and have my female be ok with him in the same house? There is so many if's and I really don't know anyone who wants a dog or can have one... I will have to ask around... Any advice would be very appreciated! Tonya
