I have smooth stone up next to the house in my dog run, and while the dogs don't potty on them its easy on their feet as they go from the door to their area.

Maybe you could buy a bag and make a path for her to get to the grass.

We had a large area to cover, so we bought big bags at Home Depot (the stones are about the diameter of a quarter) but you could get a small bag of the smaller smooth stones that they sell at Petsmart for in the bottom of aquariums.
