Maybe it is time to play Hansel and Gretel. Younguns probably don't know that classic fairy tail but they were lost in the forest, and of course, there had to be a witch someplace. Anyhow, Hansel dropped bread crumbs so they could find their way back out but a bird came along and ate the crumbs. My point is, maybe you could work with Trixie Belle alone. Put favorite treats out in the gravel just far enough away that she has to take a step to ge it. Then you stay on the gravel with lots more treats and an excited mommie-voice and call her and tempt her with the treats. If that fails I would agree with Villette and just make her the little path..maybe put down the red carpet like the dp for VIP's. After all, Trixie is special. |
