The only reason I'm having her use the pee pads is because we don't have a fenced in yard and they're too many big dogs in the neighborhood. However soaking it up is a great idea
And as for the box, that's another wonderful idea.
Actually I think it was my fault for not keeping her in a small enough area, now I keep her in the bedroom with about 8 pads on the floor and she uses them most of the time.
Now I just got to work on getting her to pooh on the pads, but luckily she goes into the bathroom off the bedroom when she does
