I bet the gravel hurts her little feet - Maybe dogs are like some people and can be tenderfooted ? (is that even a word ???)
My mom has gravel and I walked on it barefoot and OUCH....it hurt ....Maybe carry her over the gravel or make her a little path with something so she doesn't have to walk on it ?
OR you're right and she is a little princess expecting to be carried
