Do you do surgery on a heated surface (they need to...toy breeds lose body heat very quickly)?
Do you give pain meds (they need to for a spay...surgery hurts)?
How do you monitor during anesthesia?

These are great questions to ask and exactly what I asked! My girl just got spayed this week and is 3.2 lbs. She did great and was able to go home that night with us. They were going to keep her, but due to her size and that no one is there overnight they let us take her home. Also, you can do a blood test and that will assure that nothing is wrong with your baby that you can't see...oh and we did extra and had subQ fluids put under her skin too. We called all day and when she woke up she started walking around right away.

Good luck - I KNOW it's scary!!
