 So sad
MY FIL is the same age as Peter Jennings and is currently in the hospital with lung cancer. He's recently retired, and instead of enjoying his retirement, he's been in and out of the hospital for the last year. (He smoked heavily for probably 50 years...)
It's such a horrible disease that is avoidable. I can only beg those of you who smoke to please stop. If not for yourselves, do it for those that love you. The damage to your lungs is reversible, you know.
I'm so thankful that his son hates smoking as much as I do. I want to have my husband around me for as long as possible. |
