IE...she was saying "Jim...look at my head. Ok, I can laugh, I don't live with her. But be thankful she is so detailed oriented - that will be a good life skill for her! Also, in your pregnant state when the forgetfuls really kick in, Trinity can be your memory!
How about, when you're not tired, you sit down with her and talk about her gift from God, and how He made her. But also show her some Bible verses about what God says about the tongue. And gently tell her how some people might have trouble following her stories with so many details - ask her if she was going to write a storybook about what happened how would she tell it so someone would want to read it, maybe that would help her see that less is more
Learning to have a filter is important, but she is only 6 - but it is also better she hears this from her mother, than someone at school that makes fun of her.
