my Yorkie does the same thing ! He is 5 1/2 months and when he sees water he laps it all up and throws up about 2min later ?????? I have to give him small rations of water during feeding time, thats the only way he keeps it down. But he still can't get enough of water ? I spoke to a trainer and she suggested that I give him pedialyte at first because he may be drinking too much because his electrolytes are low ....or she suggested to get a big rabbit water dispenser where he has access to water and it does not give him a lot all at once. But the nightmare is when I give unlimited water its a crazy he will go to the door 10-15 times in one hour to be taken out ???? I know this is mad im fustrated too
