I now have a Rainbow and a Oreck. The Rainbow will suck up ANYTHING and does a wonderful job.... I also like the scents that you can use in the water... very nice and fragrant. It is a bit clumsy to pull around.
My Oreck is very light weight, and great for daily vacs. (also for my bad back). I use the Rainbow for my "deep cleaning" about every 2-3 weeks. |
You didn't have an electrolux? Now, those vacuums last a very long time, and believe me, I loved the discovery 1 and 2 I had..the first one I traded in when it was 14 years old, but, it was still running fantastic, now this one, I have had almost 9 years, and it's still in fantastic shape and works fantastic..I wish they would have kept making them like the ones I had..
