My girls are dressed every day during the winter. They wear mostly sweaters and have no problem getting out of them if they want, so I don't worry if I leave them. But, they are never alone for more than an hour and they have free reign of the upstairs office.
At night, they wear nighties, but they sleep in bed with us. I might worry if they were in a crate.
