Well, I keep rethinking this. That is why I edited so many times in my previous post. I live almost an hour's drive from my vet. If you live close to yours, I'd definitely take her. My Mom's girl had LP surgery recently (injury from jumping). It was surprising how quickly she healed. Her problem was licking the area. Do what your gut tells you to do. Either way, I'm sure you will take good care of her
