Has your dog been bile acid tested? Crystals in urine is one of the symptoms of MVD or liver shunt...Make sure they test the crystals at the vet's office to find out what KIND they are. It's really important to know this. If they are ammonium urate, this only happens in either dalmations or dogs with liver problems..
That's the worst case scenario...
Otherwise, it may be that your baby has a UTI...But uti's are also a symptom of liver problems...I don't want to sound paranoid or scare you, but if my dog were doing this (which he actually did) I would have the vet do a BAT.
