This was so SAD !! While I can see that she's in a good home by the post - and congratulations on helping out Paris ...it sounds like you DID pick a great home for her.
I just couldn't have done what you did - I really couldn't .....What a shame and why aren't those people living in YOUR house being a little more compassionate ?
I'm sorry - I don't even know them - but I would sure want them gone.....it's one thing to help out friends - but to give up your dog for them ? NO WAY would I do that - and I consider my heart pretty big....I would MAKE them adjust to ME if they were in my house - I've had friends stay with me before and they've were great guests - we worked together to make it the best situation all around - but if it came to my girls or my friend - sorry - it would be no contest. Friends will leave and move on and forget what you did....I hope I don't sound terrible - but I really feel bad for you. They REALLY need to know what you just gave up for them !!
