I agree with Carter's Mom on her adding another pup to her home. I also personally would rather wait until the pup is between 4-6 months of age, longer if need be. Through past experience I feel longer the better regarding the adoption of Yorkie Pups. By age 6 months I feel you can truly see the qualities you personally might be seeking in your pup.

You should have no issues at all bonding with your new one no matter how long you wait. I agree with the breeder in holding the pup back. The pup might be on the smaller size or the breeder herself might feel this is better for all your pups that she puts up for adoption. Good luck and keep us posted when you receive your little one.
