I dont know about akc....my little Smokey is CKC registered....ckc allows for up to a year before having to actually register.....i just registered him after i was sure i was gonna keep him( he was the first yorkie i had ever even seen before)....of course he won my heart the first time i held him .....but i didnt know you had to dna test them if the sired so many litters in a year.....does anyone know if ckc requires the same...i plan on siring Smokey as he is half Biewer....and his Biewer bloodline goes back to first Biewers.....
