Hmmm...what do you mean "when you give her water"? I'm wondering if you're limiting her water too much. My dogs have water available to them 24 hours a day. I do know some people may limit it overnight -or- for short periods during the day....but otherwise, dogs need to have water. Especially puppies, who are more vulnerable to dehydration bc of their bursts of energy.

Also, what exactly are you feeding - bc that can cause differing thirst too.
