I think it might be cruel to the person to have to get rid of the dog that is the only thing she has left. She doesnt even have her health anymore. Good Lord let her have her dog at least. She is attatched, I am sure she doesnt want to, or have the ability to just go and get another dog.
I dont think its the main thing. I think people matter too.
