I really like the idea of changing up foods for variety but please be careful doing this. If it were me, I would pick maybe two to five protein sources (chicken, beef...) to rotate between. I would not use every protein out there because it is best to reserve some of them if one of your dogs would develop an allergy to a more popular protein.

For example, if I had been feeding Ellie beef, chicken and turkey and she became allergic to all of them, I could then fall back on duck, venison, rabbit... because she hasn't had them before.

If you feed grains, I would do the same. It is good to rotate too (which may help prevent allergies) but it isn't good to use all grains known to man because if they become allergic to all of them, you are stuck.
