Prayers for everyone involved.
Ironically, yesterday I had to fight to get a student of mine counselling because of his anger issues. He had convinced his counselor (who saw him once every two months for thirty minutes) that he was "all better".
Here's to keeping up the fight to get these kids help long before something like this happens.
