In fact I said how she behave's to one person.. and yes you got it.. she knew who could only be the show person with that attitude.. karma does happen though.. it may take years.. but she will get her come upins one day...and I would like to be that fly on the wall...  |
Maybe she is just a very busy person or was running late for an other appointment. Some show people can be a little standoffish, maybe they've been burned or maybe they are snobs, who knows. Others, however, are friendly and helpful and are there for the love of working with and showing off their dogs. My dogs eat, get to go potty, get cleaned up, and alot of times get what they want before I do. I get little sleep in hard hotel room beds, eat pretzels out of a vending machine for supper, and stand out in the cold, icy wind so they can potty for the joy of showing these dogs (and that was just last weekend). They get new leads before I get new cloths and I spend way more on grooming products for them than I do my self. It's not about ego for me, no one even knows me yet. It's about learning and growing, talking dog with others who share the same passion and showing off my little pride and joys. My first experience with show breeders wasn't all that great either, I felt a bit snubbed. I've learned since that the first impression isn't always correct and sometimes trust must be earned first before you are embraced. I don't know what your experience was but try not to judge too harshly, give benefit of the doubt and hopefully next time your experience will be much better. For all the sacrifices, showing really is so much fun and I really enjoy all the wonderful show friends that I am making.
