Be careful going through a broker also. You can not talk directly to the breeder and get info..if a problem crops up, you are more or less on your own. There is nothing wrong to want to import, I have done it many times..but the same quality exists right here in the USA...for the most part much better. Unless the broker is reputable and I realize that can be a contraditon in terms...anyway...they can buy pups from terrible situations and resell. Do you know in Brazil most pet Yorkies are far less then $500. The broker in many cases will 10 times the price to the buyer. I saw Brazilian breeders list Yorkies pup for $500 and that includes shipping on Puppyfind.com..good luck |
