Gracie was on Tramadol and Rimadyl. Tramadol is a good pain killer but it is short acting, unlike Rimadyl that you typically dose every 12 hours. Give it around the clock until it is gone. The vet ordered Tramadol for Gracie every 8-12 hours, but during the first few days I had to give it every 6 hours (with the vets OK) to control the pain.
