Yes............my dear I do, though not with a yorkie but with a 14 year old Schnauzer mix, who was my husbands world.............Cody had developed and enlarged heart and also had fluid in and around his chest cavity.

It was heart-breaking, all he did was drink water, sleep, and pee. This condition went on for a while , the Lasix is of course a diuretic........to remove the fluid. He was on steroids, pain meds as well.

When he could no longer stand without assitance.........and I was up with him round the clock..............His eyes told me it was time, this was VERY hard on my husband.............His quality of life was gone.............we took him and held him while he was euthanized............

My heart goes out to you........................and your angel..........He will let you know when it's time for him to rest..............
