I'm glad to hear that all the Yorkies are feeling better. Like everyone has said, in some way or another, spaying a dog can cause all kinds of effects. I think the most important thing to remember is that no matter if your dog is in heat or not, its still surgery. I think since vets do it so often, it becomes routine to them and we get the "all will be fine" attitude from them. But, all dogs are different and all dogs still require recovery times.
Bottom line though, is that YOU know your dog best and if you think there's something wrong there probably is. Don't let a vet dissuade you from this.
