Please read this email Parquins sent me today. I had them look and judge my girl from a photo. Just learning about the show ring and standards, he sent me this included with photos. I have to say I agree (remember I am new at all this and am very impressionable). What do you think? I hope he doesn't mind me sharing this.

You can go to, myelegantpaws.com, she has the article i wrote about color on her web page, you may have what is more preferred, but the judges have been subjected to so many 'ill" bred, gray silver and platinum dogs that the DARK STEAL BLUE is foreign to them, it is, by ALL STANDARDS THE MOST DESIRABLE COLOR............. but faith has it has a way of turning things around, and the BEST DOG, MAY NOT BE IN THE SHOW RING, it may be sitting on a ladies lap, instead.........................today,people are more into themselves, than the 'sport' of winning with a PROPER DOG......IT'S ALL ABOUT EGO, not dogs ,.....most have no clue or concern with little real knowledge about the breeds foundation stock, since they really were not into the breed then and don't care to learn as it would clearly PROVE......THE DARK STEAL BLUE....SUPERIER ON ALL COUNTS...............AND THEY DON'T HAVE IT..................THE FADING FACTOR IS STRONGER THAN THE GENE TO HOLD COLOR .....years ago the british..would not show the dogs until 3 and 4 years old. today by the time the dog is a year, or two it has no color at all....................so they color them with hair products...........and cheat a lot, here is the color from ENGLAND ORIGIN OF THE BREED......COMMON SENSE ,........IF A DOG LIVES TO BE 12 TO 15 YRS OLD , THE COLR WOULD BE AT IT'S PEAK AT THE DOGS PRIME AGE ......SAY 4 TO 8 YRS..............most of todays yorkshires are by then so faded they look white......................WRONG WRONG WRONG !!!!!!!!!!
