First off, Welcome to YT!
I have to laugh because our little Odie is the same way. He's going to be nine this year and has been picky for most of these years. He has to have the crock bowls he had as a puppy. Nothing else. Out shopping one day I came across the cast iron dog with the two stainless steel bowls, well I thought how cute. Odie would not have anything to do with it to this day which turned out OK because he is alittle chubby and our rescue needs free feeding. They do have their quirks. Maybe try a small plate and see how that goes.
