You pretty much hit the nail on the head! Well said.
To the OP...please be advised that breeding takes some serious preparation and is not something that one should just take on lightly. If behavioral traits like humping, marking, and teritorialism (is that a word?) bother you now, they will only increase 10 fold when you use the male as a stud. (And it's not something that neutering will magically reverse the effects of.)
