Default c-sections

This may be silly to some of you but I am a new breeder and I have lots of questions. I have been having a male yorkie for about three years and I recently bought three females to breed with him. We breed our first female(Maggie) on the 23 of Janruary. We are suppose to be bringing her to get an ultrasound done this weekend on the 16th. My question is...what if the puppies are breech when I take them. Does this mean that we are going to need a c-section? A breeder that I have been talking with thinks that if your females puppies are breech then it means that they are most likely going to need a c-section. I have had cats all my life and I've never heard of someone taking their cat to have a c-section and the babies are about the same size. When do you know if they need a c-setion?
